South bay real estate

The Redondo Beach AES Power Plant. Currently, it has made the Top 100 California Polluters list, even though it operates at less than 5% capacity and is equipped with the latest emission controls. Plans are now underway for the construction of a new AES Power Plant (at the Redondo Beach site), which is estimated to emit the equivalent of what 1.7 million average family cars emit over a year. Is this what we, South Bay residents, want to live with? I think not. Not only is this plant a major eye sore, but the health and environmental ramifications for residents are too great to ignore.Stay updated and learn what may be in store for Redondo Beach if the plant were to go altogether. It’s possible that 70% of the land may become designated parkland, which is wonderful considering that the South Bay is parkland-deficient by state standards. The other 30% could have commercial and institutional uses. Either way, there will be no advances to the Redondo Beach community with regards to the AES Power Plant without strong participation from concerned locals.The first step of the home-buying process is finding the right real estate agent.
